Cricut!!

Well, I have the Cricut in my hot little hand:)

I really want to take it out and play with it, but I will refrain. I had the opportunity this past weekend to use a friends (rather she did it for me), but the title turned out really cute, esp. since I had purchased another title, but needed more, so the paper I used matched perfectly. I have posted the layout the word Explore is used with the Cricut.

Crop Update!

Hello!

I am back from a wonderful scrapbooking weekend at Disney. SDV or Scrapbookers Dream Vacation was a ton of fun. I took my mom and we scrapped, ate, took classes, shopped, chatted, made new friends, took pictures, ate, and slept very little. Can't say I got a ton done, but did have a great time and looking forward to next year!!

While I was away, I came home to some great surprises! Some registrations came in:) Some goodies for the goody bags from Carolee's Creations or Adorn it, and lots of interested ladies have contacted me about attending the event. It's a good thing!!

I am having a great time organizing this event, and have some great surprises in store!

Please take a look at the posts below regarding the T Shirts, we are preselling for $15.00 and I really need to have the order by 8/26. In placing your order ahead of time you will be able to have your choice of style, logo and size. I will have some the day of the event, but can not guarantee it will be what you are wanting.

I thought I would provide a sample letter for those of you who are interested in Winning a New Cricut Die Cut Machine.

Dear Family & Friends:

I will be participating in a Scrapbooking Crop on September 20th to benefit the Brandon Jr. Woman's Club's Annual Children's Holiday Party for underprivileged. Each year the BJWC supports up to 100 children in the Brandon and surrounding areas with a large party which includes, lunch, crafts, entertainment, and a great opportunity to visit with Santa. They then receive much needed gifts that include Clothing, Shoes, Socks, Underwear, Books, School Supplies, many Toys and more.

Your help is needed!! Please consider being a donor to help support this worthy cause. In supporting this cause, the children will have better self esteem, educational support and a sense of community.

Donations of any denomination can be made payable to the Brandon Jr. Woman's Club and mailed to (fill in the blank with your address). Tax deductible receipts are available upon request. The BJWC is a 501c3 organization.

As you may be aware, the Brandon Jr. Woman’s Club is a 501c3 organization, each year we hold a wonderful holiday event supporting 80 - 100 underprivileged children in Brandon and surrounding areas with toys, clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, educational supplies and books, along with a party providing them with crafts, entertainment and lunch. This event is a huge undertaking and entails many volunteer efforts along with great expenditures. In supporting these children, we are empowering them with self esteem, tools to help with their education, and the feeling that others in their community care and support them.

Please take a moment to ask your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to help support our efforts with a tax deductible donation to be made out to Brandon Jr. Woman’s Club. Betsy Snow

Many exciting things are happening with the Santa in September Crop.
